Terms and Conditions 1. Introduction - Welcome to 'P-pol,' an innovative communication platform designed exclusively for internal use by affiliated political parties. By accessing or using this application, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of 'P-pol,' and if you disagree with any part, please refrain from using the application. 2. Eligibility: a).Access to 'P-pol' is restricted to authorized members of affiliated political parties. b). Only users approved and invited by the engaging political party can log in and utilize the application's features. c). Users must comply with all applicable laws and the policies of the affiliated political party. 3. Application Features a). The application provides tools for efficient communication, including: i). One-on-one and group chats. ii). Broadcast messages. iii).Poll creation and participation. iv). Media sharing, including images, videos, documents, locations, and audio recordings. b). The platform facilitates seamless interaction among party members and promotes effective internal communication. 4. User Responsibilities a). Users must ensure that their behavior and content adhere to the standard code of conduct established by the affiliated political party. b). Users must not: i). Share offensive, harmful, or illegal content. ii). Violate the privacy of other users. iii). Engage in spamming, phishing, or other disruptive activities. 5. Content Traceability and Liability a). Content Traceability: Messages shared on 'P-pol,' whether created or forwarded, are fully traceable to the original sender. This traceability applies to all recipients, whether they receive the content directly or via forwards. b). User Liability: Users are solely responsible for the content they create, share, or forward within the platform. This includes but is not limited to: i). Ensuring that the content complies with applicable laws and party policies. ii). Avoiding the dissemination of false, misleading, or harmful information. iii). Organizational Disclaimer: The organization and platform administrators are not liable for the aftereffects or consequences of any content shared by users. This includes legal, social, or reputational impacts arising from the misuse or interpretation of shared content. c). Reporting Mechanism: Users may report inappropriate or harmful content to platform administrators, who will review and take appropriate action in accordance with party policies. 6. Responsible AI Usage Policy a). The organization ensures that all AI functionalities integrated within 'P-pol' adhere to the highest ethical and technical standards. The following principles guide the platform’s AI usage: i). Transparency: AI-generated insights or decisions provided by the platform are designed to be transparent and explainable. ii). Non-Discrimination: AI tools are implemented to avoid bias, discrimination, or unfair treatment of individuals or groups. iii). Privacy Protection: User data processed by AI complies with the Privacy Policy, ensuring secure and lawful handling. b). Prohibited Uses: The organization strictly prohibits using AI to manipulate, misinform, or harm users. c). Accountability: The affiliated political party assumes full responsibility for the ethical application and oversight of AI functionalities. d). Feedback Mechanisms: Users may report concerns or irregularities regarding AI functionalities via grievance redressal channels. 7. Explicit Content Policy The creation, upload, sharing, forwarding, or downloading of explicit content, including but not limited to sexually explicit materials, obscene language, or graphic violence, is strictly prohibited. a). Users are required to: i). Respect the sensitivities and standards of other users. ii). Ensure that shared content complies with the laws of India and any applicable international standards. b). The affiliated political party reserves the right to: i). Monitor all content shared on the platform. ii). Remove any explicit or inappropriate content. iii). Suspend or ban users who violate the explicit content policy. c). Content flagged as explicit may be: i). Reported to the affiliated party's administrators for review. ii). Escalated to law enforcement authorities if deemed illegal or harmful. 8. Deepfake Content Policy Creation, upload, forwarding, or downloading of deepfake media content is strictly regulated and must comply with the following guidelines: a). Users must clearly disclose if a media file is synthetic or altered. b). Deepfake content that misleads, defames, or spreads misinformation is strictly prohibited. c). The creation or distribution of deepfake media that impersonates individuals or misrepresents facts for malicious purposes is not allowed. d). Violators will be reported to the affiliated party administrators and may face legal consequences as per applicable laws. e). Users must obtain explicit consent from individuals featured in any deepfake media before sharing it within the platform. 9. Administration and Moderation a). The engaging political party acts as the administrator of the application. b). Administrators have the authority to: i). Monitor user activities. ii). Address user-reported content. iii). Suspend or ban users for violating policies. iv). All decisions related to moderation and disciplinary actions rest solely with the affiliated political party. 10. Data Collection and Use a). 'P-pol' collects personal and non-personal data, including but not limited to: i). Personal identifiers (name, address, position, constituency). ii). Activity data (usage patterns, shared content). b). The application may employ AI technologies to analyze user mood and orientation to assist party leadership in decision-making. 11. Security Measures Robust security protocols are implemented, including: a). OTP-based login for secure access. b). Screenshot prevention to safeguard sensitive information. c). Compliance with international security standards. 12. Updates to Terms and Conditions a). 'P-pol' reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. b). Users will be notified of changes and required to re-accept the updated terms to continue using the application. 13. Liability a). The affiliated political party assumes full responsibility for the misuse or unauthorized use of the application. b). 'P-pol' developers are not liable for any actions taken by users or administrators within the application. 14. Grievance Redressal Users can report grievances or technical issues through: a). The in-app feedback mechanism. b). Feedback sections in Android and Apple app stores. c). Direct queries to queries@metamaths.in. 15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of 'P-pol' shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
